Work-related travel accounts for 15% of all travel by car, according to Amy Wyron, vice president of business solutions at Israeli taxi-hailing company Gett Inc. Speaking Thursday at Calcalist’s third Mind the Tech conference in London, Wyron said that consumers spend $10 trillion annually on getting from point A to point B using something other than their own vehicle.

“By 2025, a quarter of all miles driven will be driven by on-demand services,” Wyron said, naming Uber, Lyft, and Gett as examples.

Gett is currently in the midst of preparing for its upcoming initial public offering, and has made repeated statements regarding its intent to achieve operational profitability by the fourth quarter of 2019.
