Ayelet Mavor, the director of the UK Israel Tech Hub, a government-backed non-profit organization connecting Israeli tech companies with the British industry, hosted a panel on collaborations between Israeli startups and U.K.-based corporations. The panel took place Thursday as part of Calcalist’s third Mind the Tech conference in London.

Participating in the panel were Jonathan Tudor, director of technology and innovation strategy at London-listed energy company Centrica PLC; John Stewart, global head of scouting and research at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS); Rikesh Shah, head of commercial innovation at Transport for London; and Haim Shani, co-founder and general partner of Israel Growth Partners and the chairman of UK Israel Tech Hub.

At the panel, Mavor announced the establishment of the UK Landing Pad, a new center where Israeli startups can connect with UK Israel Tech Hub associates from the U.K.’s business and public sectors.
