PlayerMaker uses footwear to help athletes turn into champions, according to Guy Aharon, CEO and co-founder of sports tech startup PlayerMaker, incorporated as Motionize Israel Ltd. At Calcalist’s third Mind the Tech conference in London, Aharon spoke about the company’s motion sensors installed on players’ shoes to track indicators such as gait and ball contact. PlayerMaker’s technology is used by soccer teams including AFC Wimbledon, Atlanta United FC, and Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C.
