Hoboken, New Jersey-based hiring startup Talenya Inc. has completed a $6.5 million funding round, the company announced Monday. The round was led by Ibex Investors participation by Lool Ventures, Gal Ventures, East Wind Capital, and Arc NY.
Founded in 2017 by Israeli entrepreneurs Gal Almog and Doron Segal, Talenya develops AI-based bots that serve as virtual recruiters who scout for open positions by processing information from online sources, and are also capable of contacting suitable candidates and inviting them to a job interview on behalf of an employer. The company has offices in the central Israeli town Rosh HaAyin and in New Jersey, and has raised $9.5 million to date.
The company plans to use the new funding to expand its research and development and sales operations.
