Cloud application developer DoiT International Ltd. announced Sunday it has raised more than $100 million from Charlesbank Technology Opportunities Fund, a fund managed by Boston and New York-based Charlesbank Capital Partners. The investment was made partially as a stock deal, and partly as a credit line, the company said. It is the first investment round for the company, according to the statement.
DoiT offers cloud consulting, engineering, and support services for companies looking to migrate applications and data to the cloud. Founded in 2011, DoiT employs a team of 60 and has offices in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, New York, Austin, and London.
In a Sunday interview with Calcalist, DoiT co-founder Vadim Solovey said that the company would use the funding to increase its presence in North America and Europe and make strategic acquisitions. “We want to enter Asia and make strategic deals that will allow us to offer a broader service,” he said.
