In 2019, fewer Israeli companies went public than initially expected, according to Danny Cohen, a partner at Israeli early-stage venture capital firm Viola Ventures. Cohen spoke to Calcalist Monday during the latter’s Mind the Tech conference in Tel Aviv. In 2020, we can expect more Israeli companies to attempt an initial public offering, Cohen said.
To have a larger number of companies valued at over $1 billion, Israeli companies need to branch out of the cybersecurity and devOps fields, Cohen said.
