Cyprus Securities Regulator Calls for Cyprus-Israel-Greece Bourse Collaboration

In an event held in London to encourage growth opportunities between the three countries, Israel Securities Authority Chairwoman Anat Guetta spoke about the future of the Israeli venture market

Demetra Kalogerou, the chairwoman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, is urging collaboration between the stock exchanges of Cyprus, Greece, and Israel. Kalogero spoke during The Economist's Eastmed London Investment Summit held Tuesday with the intention of encouraging partnership and growth opportunities between the three countries.

Israel Securities Authority Chairwoman Anat Guetta said during the summit that recently, the authority met with various investors from Israel, and with entrepreneurs and interested parties from the U.S., Asia, and Europe who are interested in playing a part in the future infrastructure of the Israeli venture market. The authority is currently in the process of creating regulatory infrastructure for the creation of a smart market ecosystem, she said.
