Salesforce.com Inc. is currently negotiating an office space in Tel Aviv for 1,500 employees, according to one person familiar with the matter who spoke to Calcalist on condition of anonymity. The company is looking to lease 10 floors of a building located on Tel Aviv’s Menachem Begin Street for a period of 10 years, the person said.

Last month, Calcalist reported that the company was looking to nearly double its research and development operations in Israel over the next two years.

Salesforce's Israeli operation is already more than 600-people strong, bolstered by a slew of acquisitions in recent years. Most recently, in August, Salesforce bought workforce management software company Clicksoftware Technologies Ltd. for $1.35 billion.

In 2018, the 400 employees of Tel Aviv-based marketing analytics company Datorama Ltd. became part of Salesforce's Israeli team following the company’s acquisition by Salesforce for over $800 million.
