Cisco’s Threat Intelligence Team Sees 195 Billion Requests Daily, Says Cisco Cybersecurity Exec

Cisco’s threat intelligence team Talos sees 195 billion incoming requests per day, according to Cisco cybersecurity sales specialist Shirel Amon. Amon spoke Monday at Calcalist’s Cyber 2020 conference, held at shared office venture Labs at Tel Aviv’s Azrieli Sarona tower.

Talos also identifies approximately 20 million threats each day, he said.

In order to be successful, a modern enterprise security solution should encompass four spheres: the end-user, the networks, the cloud, and the data center, Amon said. Cisco’s technology covers all four bases, he said.
