Open Source Vulnerabilities Hunter Snyk Raises $150 Million

Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup Snyk Ltd. has completed a $150 million round according to a company valuation of more than $1 billion, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by New York-based growth equity firm Stripes Group LLC. This round brings Snyk’s total funding raised to date to $250 million, according to company statements.
In September 2019, Google led a $70 million funding round for Snyk through its venture arm GV.
Founded in 2015, Snyk develops and markets software that helps developers detect and fix vulnerabilities in third-party code modules. Snyk lists Google, Microsoft, and Salesforce as customers. The company employs a team of 78 employees in London, Tel Aviv, Boston, and Ontario, according to its website.
