Israir Launches Tel Aviv to Yerevan Seasonal Route
The company also announced plans to launch seasonal routes from Tel Aviv to Palma de Mallorca in Spain and the Latvian capital Riga

Israeli carrier Israir Airlines Ltd. is set to launch a new route from Tel Aviv to the Armenian capital, Yerevan, the company announced Wednesday. The direct flights will operate once-weekly on Tuesdays, from June until after the Jewish high holiday season in mid-October.
On Wednesday, the company also announced plans to launch seasonal routes to Palma de Mallorca in Spain and the Latvian capital Riga. The flights to Palma will be operated on Saturdays, and the route to Riga will be operated twice-weekly, on Fridays and Mondays.
A subsidiary of IDB Development Corporation Ltd., a holding company controlled by Argentinian businessman Eduardo Elsztain, Israir offers international flights to Europe as well as domestic flights from Tel Aviv to southern resort town Eilat.
