Nasdaq-listed billing company Amdocs Inc. has decided to cancel its participation in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (MWC), scheduled for later this month, due to fear of the spreading coronavirus, Judith Yampolsky, the company’s head of human resources, told Calcalist Monday.

South Korean electronics company LG Electronics Inc., Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson, American chipmaker Nvidia Inc., and e-commerce giant Amazon have already announced they will not attend the event this year due to the virus.

Amdocs employs 25,000 people worldwide, 5,000 of whom in Israel, and sends several hundred people to MWC every year.
