Calcalist’s fourth Mind the Tech Conference, which will take place in New York between March 30 and April 1 in partnership with Israel’s Bank Leumi and the Jerusalem Development Authority, will feature a startup competition this year as well. The semi-finals of Trifecta, a $1 million startup competition organized by the early stage fund of Israel-based firm Pitango Venture Capital, will be held during the conference.

As part of the semi-finals, to be held at the New York offices of startup network SOSA as part of Calcalist’s B2B event, semi-finalists will meet with U.S. and Israeli strategic players in the industry, and receive mentoring from some of Pitango’s leading executives. The winning startup, announced at the finals, which will be held in Israel in June, will receive a $1 million investment prize.

"We want to connect with entrepreneurs who dream of leading the next revolution when it comes to the intersection between data, machine, and man," Ayal Itzkovitz, managing partner of Pitango, said in a statement. “Our competition is open to early stage companies who develop solutions that answer a list of challenges in the sector.”

Startups interested in applying for the competition are invited to do so by March 6, 2020, by clicking here.
