Teva Will Become Less of a Mess, Says CEO Kåre Schultz

Two years after he moved to Israel to head the struggling Israeli drugmaker, Schultz seems more optimistic

A week after Teva released its fourth quarter and annual reports for 2019, providing a hint of optimism via its guideline for 2020, CEO Kåre Schultz seems good-humoured in an interview with Calcalist. Things are starting to fall into place and there is less of a mess in Teva, he said. Overall, the environment within the company is much more at ease now than it was two years ago, when he stepped into the CEO’s role and launched the company’s ambitious reorganization plan.
