Ransomware Protection Startup Odix Raises $2.1 Million
Odix develops technology to provide file-based attack protection that disarms different malware, including ransomware

Israel-based ransomware protection startup Odix, incorporated as Operations & Data Integrity Ltd., has raised a $2.1 million funding round, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by private angel investors and Israeli entrepreneur Efraim Landa.
Founded in 2009 and based in Rosh HaAyin, a town in central Israel, Odix develops technology to provide file-based attack protection that disarms different malware, including ransomware. The company lists Dun & Bradstreet Corp., General Electric, and the European Investment Bank (EIC) as customers. In September, Odix announced
it was awarded a 2 million euros (approximately $2.19 million) grant from Horizon 2020, the European Union’s research and innovation program.
The new round brings Odix’ total funding raised to date to $6 million.
