As coronavirus (Covid-19) cases pile up in Israel—where the number of patients rose to 76 on Wednesday morning—organizations throughout the country are transitioning into new work models. On Tuesday, IBM Israel General Manager Daniel Malka informed his employees that the company will allow them to work from home, according to a statement that was reviewed by Calcalist.

"As you know, we are following developments regarding the virus, and are strictly following IBM's global health guidelines. In light of the developments, it has been decided that from now until a new announcement will be made, employees who are worried about going to corporate sites and whose job allows for regular work from home can do so under the coordination and approval of their managers,” Malka said.
