Urban Development Startup UrbanLeap Raises $4.2 Million

UrbanLeap operates an online marketplace that enables local governments to better manage urban development projects

Silicon Valley-based startup UrbanLeap Inc. has raised a $4.2 million seed round, the company announced Thursday. The new investment was led by Israel-based venture firm StageOne Ventures with participation from existing investor Tel Aviv-based VC firm Lool Ventures.

Founded in 2017, UrbanLeap operates an online marketplace that enables local governments to better manage urban development projects. The company’s platform is being used by 55 cities to manage more than 250 projects, the company said. UrbanLeap intends to use the funding for product development, the company said.
