Rothschild Foundation to Donate $13.6 Million to Israeli Hospitals

The donation is intended for the purchase of respirators, monitors, ultrasound devices, and protective gear for medical teams, among other urgent medical needs in 22 hospitals throughout the country

The Edmond de Rothschild Foundation announced Thursday it intends to donate NIS 50 million (approximately $13.6 million) to Israeli hospitals, in order to help fight the spread of the coronavirus (Covid19).

The donation is intended to be used for the purchase of respirators, monitors, ultrasound devices, and protective gear for medical teams, among other urgent medical needs in 22 hospitals throughout the country. The foundation will divide the funds taking into account each hospital’s unique needs, its size, and its geographical location.
