Pyramid Analytics BV has raised a $25 million series C funding round, the company announced Thursday. The round was led by Israel-based venture capital firm Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital, Viola Growth, and Maor Investments. The new round brings the company’s total raised to date to $66.5 million, according to PitchBook data.

Due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, all of the company’s 110 employees are working remotely, Pyramid Analytics co-founder and CEO Omri Kohl said in a Thursday interview with Calcalist. The company has offices in Seattle, Boise, Idaho, and the Tel Aviv area, he said.

Pyramid Analytics intended to use the funds to drastically increase its team, but because of the pandemic, it will only hire a small number of people to be based in New York and the U.K., Kohl said.

Founded in 2008, Pyramid Analytics develops an enterprise analytics service that enables data analysts to build models, present analytic content, and share data insights across both cloud and in-house servers. The company lists HP Inc., Dell, and Siemens as customers.
