Automated Legal Contract Startup LawGeex Raises $20 Million

Tel Aviv-based legaltech startup LawGeex, incorporated as Legalogic Ltd., has raised $20 million, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by Corner Ventures, with participation from La Maison and existing investors Aleph, Lool Ventures and former Thomson Reuters CEO Tom Glocer.
Founded in 2014, LawGeex develops software that automates legal contract reviews for businesses. The company lists HP and General Electric as customers. The new round brings LawGeex’s total funding raised to date to $45 million.
The company intends to use the funding to hire more people for its customer success team, grow its product offering through additional use cases, and expand to additional markets.
