Synel MLL PayWay Ltd., a location-based solution for HR management for payroll and time management services, has incorporated a heat camera in its latest app update. The latest addition to its software will make it easier for security officers in public buildings to measure the temperature of people entering offices or gyms. The update comes off the heels of new government regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
In Israel, the government has introduced new regulations forcing organizations and businesses to complete a health declaration and track the body temperature of each person entering a building. In light of this, Synel has incorporated the technology into its existing Synergy/A system.
"We offer an effective hardware-software solution perfect for organizations that already use Synel's attendance terminals and anticipate it will save manpower, paperwork and valuable time,” says Erez Buganim, Deputy CEO and Acting CEO of Synel. “This feature allows for basic screening of employees before they enter the premises for fever typical to Covid-19 and enforces the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The potential in Israel and around the world is promising and estimated in millions, as many small-medium-sized organizations and businesses worldwide use attendance terminals to record employee attendance.” Established in 1989, Synel has established global operations in 34 countries and has roughly 10,000 customers in Israel. Currently, there are 2.2 million heat recordings a day as Israelis slowly returned to offices - only to re-enter a partial lockdown last week that is set to remain in place until October.
