“The UAE is an important hub, in terms of location and access to different channels in the Middle East,” said COO of Trackimo Amit Shaked when speaking to CTech’s Ron Friedman during the Israel-Dubai Conference organized by Calcalist, Bank Leumi, and Reshet 13.
Trackimo is a smart, compact, and cost effective tracking device that can be affixed to almost anything, and provide users with simple ways to keep track of their assets, people, luggage, and more.
“Trackimo is one of the leading companies providing GPS tracking solutions for different purposes, personal safety, asset tracking, and more,” Shaked said. The company has been in business for several years, and has expanded to many countries, he noted, with facilities in the U.S., China, and Israel. The company also works with mobile operators, to improve tracking efficiency and retail channels. Shaked explained that Trackimo has specifically appealed to Middle Eastern countries. “This conference is an opportunity for us to create partnerships and different business channels to enable our products and services to benefit this market, and expand,” he said. When asked about the device, he related that it could be attached to equipment, luggage, people, and even pets, adding that it has many ways to locate assets or people by using GPS both outdoors and indoors, as well as other location technologies, while running on a cloud-based IoT system.
