Microsoft appoints new head of Specialist Team Unit

The tech giant appointed Avi Yoshi to lead the company’s wide offering of digital and business solutions with a focus on cloud, data, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and more

Tech giant Microsoft-Israel announced on Monday that it would be appointing Avi Yoshi as Specialist Team Unit (STU) Lead and VP Technology Solutions Specialist. In this role, Yoshi will offer a variety of digital and business solutions that the company offers to its customers in Israel with a focus on the cloud, data, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and more.

He will focus on providing advanced technological solutions for the enterprise and security markets in Israel. For the past four years, he has served as Director of Engineering at VMWare, leading innovative programs focused on achieving growth. Prior to that, he worked at Bynet Communication LTD for a decade, where his last role was as head of systems engineering. Yoshi (41) holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Communications from the Holon Institute of Technology.

Upon his appointment, Yoshi commented: “I am very proud to join Microsoft-Israel and take part in the technological revolution it is leading in Israel and in the world.”
