Wachterman will join the pricing-intelligence company with the aim of helping it expand in the United States
Fetcherr has added several senior executives recently as part of its extensive business development system, including the appointment of the former British Airways CEO and Chairman, Alex Cruz. Wachterman, who will be responsible for opening new markets and creating business opportunities in the U.S., is an IT manager with 30 years of experience in providing technical solutions in the field of aviation and tourism, and served in the past as the IT manager of United Airlines for revenue management and distribution planning, where she was responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and more.
"From the beginning of 2021, there is a huge interest from airlines in the Fetcherr system. Following the significant growth expected for the company in the next two years, we have recruited, in addition to Alex Cruz, the outgoing chairman of British Airways, a "dream team" of world aviation executives to help us realize our great potential during this period,” said Robby Nissan, who is Fetcherr’s co-founder & Chief Business Development Officer.
Fetcherr developed an agnostic system for forecasting demand and creating continuous pricing for the aviation and tourism field. The technology is based on a combination of AI and machine learning. The company was established in 2019, currently employing 34 people, and has raised $4.5 million. Today, it works with two leading airline companies, and is currently conducting advanced negotiations with international companies in the cargo, hotels and car rental fields. The company's offices are located in Netanya, Israel.
