Covid-19 “shrunk the distance between Israel and the rest of the world”

“There are a lot of things working in Israel's favor right now, not the least of which is Covid-19,” said Nadir Izrael, Co-Founder and CTO of Armis Security. Cybersecurity has become one of Israel’s leading sectors in recent years, and the acceleration of remote working has helped small tech companies in Startup Nation reach a wider talent pool as they scale.

“Covid-19 and the fact that everything becomes remote shrunk the distance between Israel and the rest of the world. Suddenly you can actually build viable companies that are huge, straight from here, without actually having to fly half a million miles a year like we used to do back before it,” Izrael said.
