Pairzon, which connects the physical consumer identities to their online identity helping retailers target their consumers, noticed a positive trend following the dramatic year of 2020 and saw the world open again after a year of pandemic lockdowns. According to the company, shoppers are leaving their homes again and shopping the classic way in brick-and-mortar stores.

“We definitely see a massive return back to the physical stores,” Pairzon CEO Galit Arizon told James Spiro. “After Covid and when the markets re-opened, people went in-store and wanted to touch and feel and smell. This actually increases basket sizes dramatically and I think the online sales will still be growing, but there is retention back to the physical stores.”

During the pandemic, Pairzon was able to collect the in-store and historical data from retailers and allow them to target the consumers online based on their actual buying habits. This, Arizon argued, increased ROI and retention both in the physical store when it opened again, and in their online websites.

“The worlds are really merging and we can see the omnichannel world growing,” she added.
