“Organizations today must invest in automation in order to validate their investment in cybersecurity… before doing anything else,” explained Sivan Harel, AVP EU North, EU South and MEA at Pentera. The company helps companies validate their cybersecurity efforts by emulating real attacks without harming them to reveal how secure they are.
It’s been a busy month for the company: first, it announced its new Unicorn status after a $150 million Series C round, then it revealed that it was recently awarded a government tender for cyber testing and validation. “Government organizations have the same challenge - a growing attack surface, lack of resources, not enough infosec specialists, and they cannot fail,” Harel continued. “The government of Israel has recognized this pain and the need for automated validation. They defined it as a category of its own, with Pentera's platform as the leading platform for the entire State of Israel to use in order to protect itself.” You can watch the entire exchange and catch up on the companies recent accomplishments in the video above.
