“It is beautiful and it is quiet so you can really invest the time to think about all kinds of ideas that you have,” explained Zorronet COO Dikla Yadid when discussing her day-to-day life in Israel's periphery. Speaking at the Kinneret Innovation Center with the Sea of Galilee as her backdrop, Yadid highlighted some of the areas that attracted her most to the periphery.
“City overcrowding brings more people out of the city, so you can see and find a lot of talent here,” she continued. “If we’re talking about the Kinneret Innovation Center specifically, they provide us a lot of mentoring, tools, and connections. So we really enjoy all sides and benefits.” Zorronet is located in Israel’s north region and provides farmers with an end-to-end security and damage prevention solution. As opposed to more conventional sectors found in Tel Aviv, Zorronet benefits from being away from the city and closer to those operating in farming or agritech industries. “Our customers are naturally in the rural areas, so we are able to understand their needs, their challenges, and their pain points. It was obvious to us to be close to our customers,” she concluded. You can watch the entire exchange in the video above.
