“KiDEO develops education applications for kids. We started from developing applications for pre-school, and then for the last two years we have shifted and moved to develop also for pupils at schools,” explained Mahmoud Kinana, the company’s CEO. It has roughly 60 applications in Google Play and Apple Store with more than 200 million downloads worldwide.

The company currently has pilot programs in 100 Israeli schools helping students with their English language skills. In the future, it plans to expand that to Hebrew-speaking applications to help Arabic communities.

The company recently entered into a partnership with Sanrio, the company that owns the license to the popular children’s character Hello Kitty. “This application will have a lot of activities, a wide range of things for pre-school in one application, and the kids will play and learn with their beloved characters,” said Kinana.
