Good Company, Sompo Digital Lab Tel Aviv, seeking SilverTech solutions for new program

The startups selected to participate in the program could receive up to a $500,000 investment from Good Company for their technology solutions designed to meet the needs of the 65-plus demographic

The Movement by venture capital firm Good Company announced on Wednesday together with Japanese insurance giant Sompo the launch of their “SilverTech Mission”. Good Company and Sompo Digital Lab Tel Aviv, together with industry leaders such as KPMG, BCLP, LeumiTech, AWS, Bridges Israel, Primetime Partners, LionBird, and AgingIL are actively seeking startups that are disrupting the lives of elderly people.

SilverTech is a growing category of technology solutions designed to meet the needs of the 65-plus demographic and the $8.3 trillion-dollar U.S. market it represents. Sitting at the intersection of aging, longevity and technology, SilverTech includes products, services and experiences across industries that contribute to longer, healthier lives and empower people to choose how they live as they age.

This mission is calling for early-stage technology startups with breakthrough SilverTech solutions to submit their world-changing ideas. The selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch in front of an experts’ panel from multinational corporations, investors and larger startups already innovating in this space. Applications are open until July 2nd, 2022.
