Blackstone CTO: "In terms of tech investment I haven't seen it slow down anywhere"

"In terms of tech investment I haven't seen it slow down anywhere. Yes, people are thinking of stuff differently, but if there are opportunities to deploy solutions you are still going to pay for those solutions," said John Stecher, CTO at Blackstone, speaking during the Mind the Tech Conference in New York on Thursday.

Stecher was talking with Yifat Oron, Senior Managing Director, Head of Tel Aviv Office, at Blackstone, in a fireside chat titled "How Technology is Shaping Business: In the Eye of an Investment Giant."

"There are a lot of point solutions that you still need to go out and source early stage startups to help you solve, so that is really where we focus a lot of our time," added Stecher.
