Eyal Shpin appointed as Dell Technologies Israel R&D site lead
Shpin will replace Dan Inbar, who led the R&D site in Israel for the last five years. Both executives will continue in their global positions
Dell Technologies has announced the appointment of Eyal Shpin as the Israel R&D site lead. In recent years, Shpin has served as Senior Vice President in the field of Multi-Cloud and Data Management at Dell Technologies. His new role in Israel will be in addition to his global role.
Shpin will replace Dan Inbar after five years in this position, in addition to his position as President of ISG Engineering and Development at Dell Technologies. Inbar will continue to serve in his global position.
In recent years, the site in Israel has led the development of the technologies that constitute the cutting edge of Dell, which include, among other things, the PowerStore, a data storage product developed specifically for the infrastructures of the future; and the PowerFlex, a software-based storage product with infinite flexibility for storing information in the cloud or on the client side.

Today, the R&D site in Israel employs about 800 people in three locations (Glil Yam, Haifa and Be'er Sheva).
