Cybersecurity firm Cybereason has announced that it has appointed entrepreneur and cyber expert Zohar Alon as President of Cybereason Israel to oversee Product and R&D. He will join the company with more than 25 years of industry experience and will be responsible for driving product strategy for the company’s defense platform, including XDR, EDR, and EPP solutions.
“Joining Cybereason during this pivotal time is what excites me about the challenge ahead. The recent Gartner and MITRE recognition illustrates the many clear reasons why the company is trusted throughout the world to end cyberattacks,” said Alon. “I look forward to leading Cybereason’s next stage of product innovation.”
Alon was an early employee at Check Point, where he created Provider-1, the first security management solution for MSSPs. He was also the founder of Dome9 Security, a cloud security posture management company that was acquired by Check Point in 2018. He also offers guidance as a board member at several companies, such as FireFly, Blindspot Security, Adaptive Shield, Tamnoon, and Holistic Cyber.
Cybereason helps prevent cybersecurity attacks at the endpoint, in the cloud, and across the enterprise ecosystem. Its AI-driven Defense Platform offers predictive prevention, detection, and response. The company is headquartered in Boston, USA, and has customers in more than 40 companies.
