“I think every founder and every company has their own way and own niche in how they raise money”

Raz Ronen, Founder and CEO at Wisor AI spoke about the challenges of raising capital in a tough economic time

“One of the main problems of supply chains is visibility. Visibility and the ability to handle unstructured data,” explained Raz Ronen, Founder and CEO at Wisor AI. “If you're a freight forwarder, you give service to importers and exporters around the world to move their goods. The way you do that is by working with different suppliers such as shipping companies, airline tracking companies, customs clearance, ports, etc. What we do in Wisor is integrate all of them and migrate them into one easy database and one easy platform they can use.”

In February, the company raised an $8 million Seed round led by Team8 to help the 300,000 freight forwarders who are “stuck in the past working with themselves, WhatsApps, emails, and phone calls.” The B2B SaaS tool provides software to change the way these freights are managed and moved around the world.

“It is a tough time, but we have amazing partners,” he added. “I think every founder and every company has their own way and their own niche in how they raise money. From my perspective as the CEO of the company, I try to understand the market. We work in a resilient market and it is a good time for us in the market.”
