July 2024 in Israeli tech funding: $703 million in 28 deals
Local startups more than doubled the amount raised during July 2023, when funding hit a seven-year monthly low of $315 million.
Over $700 million were raised by Israeli startups across 28 deals during July, the fifth straight month in which the $500 million mark was broken. Local tech companies crossed the $1 billion threshold in both April and May after previously going since August 2022 without reaching that figure over a single month.

While local startups failed to reach the $1 billion mark once again, they did more than double the amount raised last July, when funding hit a seven-year monthly low of $315 million.
The number of deals during July was also the highest of any month this year, meaning the average amount in the rounds was relatively low.
