TAU Ventures appoints Moran Zilbershtein as General Partner

Zilbershtein previously served as the Economic Attaché of Israel in San Francisco and VP Value Creation at Glilot Capital Partners.

TAU Ventures, the venture capital arm of Tel Aviv University, has appointed Moran Zilbershtein as a General Partner. Founded in 2018 by Managing Partner Nimrod Cohen in partnership with Tel Aviv University, TAU Ventures currently manages approximately $70 million across two funds and invests in early-stage technology startups.

Until recently, Zilbershtein led the Value Creation department at Glilot Capital Partners, where she was responsible for shaping and implementing the fund’s portfolio development strategy. In addition, she managed and expanded Glilot’s Advisory Board, a network of over 200 senior executives from leading global corporations.

Previously, Zilbershtein served as Israel’s Commercial Attaché to San Francisco, where she spent four years working closely with senior executives at leading global corporations and venture capital firms across Silicon Valley. In this role, she supported hundreds of Israeli startups in navigating U.S. market entry and expanding their presence on the West Coast.

Prior to that, she headed the China Department at Israel’s Foreign Trade Administration, where she oversaw six economic missions in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, leading strategic trade and investment efforts across China.

Managing Partner Nimrod Cohen was among the first investors in six unicorns, including Snyk, Coralogix, Silverfort, Bringg, WSC Sports, and Yotpo.
