“Advanced and personalized”: Clal Insurance CIO on insurtech innovation

Insurance, like most sectors, is experiencing significant transformation at the hands of AI and other digital advancements that stand to reshape long-established practices, as Clal demonstrates in the evolving field of insurtech.

“In the last two or three years, we are having lots of AI use-cases integrated into our applications,” she continued. Among the company’s recent innovations are “Clal BEHAVE,” a car insurance product that rewards careful driving through smartphone-based behavioral monitoring and a travel insurance app that uses open AI tools to read and analyze medical claim documents in real time.
