Gelt, an Israeli startup that uses artificial intelligence to provide continuous tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and scaling businesses, has raised $13 million in a Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $21.2 million. The round was led by Zvi Limon of the Rimon Group, with participation from Vintage Investment Partners and TLV Partners. The company also appointed Yoram Tietz, former Managing Partner at EY and current Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, as Chairman of the Board.

Founded three years ago, Gelt says it has grown rapidly, tripling its user base year over year while simultaneously increasing profit margins from a historical 20–30 percent to 55–66 percent.

Unlike conventional tax firms that focus on annual compliance, Gelt’s AI-powered platform scans the tax code in real time and implements client-specific strategies. In one example, the system identified overpayment by a venture partner via a standard W-2 salary and restructured the income through an S-Corp. The move not only cut payroll taxes but revealed federal deductions that saved the client over $100,000 in a single year.

Founder and CEO Tal Binder described Gelt’s model as a “proactive strategy that saves clients significant money and removes the compliance burden entirely.” The AI platform handles complex analysis, allowing Gelt’s CPAs to focus on strategic guidance rather than routine calculations.

The Series A funding will support further platform development and expansion into new markets, with plans to triple the team by hiring senior CPAs, engineers, and client experience professionals. Gelt is targeting industries with particularly complex tax requirements, including technology, healthcare, real estate, and financial services.
