Cellebrite, the Israeli digital forensics company best known for helping law enforcement unlock and analyze encrypted devices, reported stronger-than-expected third-quarter results, sending its shares surging more than 20% on Thursday.

The company posted revenue of $126 million, up 18% from the same quarter last year, with subscription revenue rising 21% to $112.7 million. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached $439.8 million, a 19% increase.

CEO Thomas Hogan, who replaced veteran Israeli CEO Yossi Carmil last November, said the company’s performance exceeded expectations, with adjusted EBITDA coming in above the high end of guidance at $37.7 million, representing a 29.9% margin. “Our execution reflects the resilience, operating leverage, and importance of our solutions to public safety around the globe,” Hogan said.

Investors appeared encouraged by signs of renewed momentum in Cellebrite’s U.S. federal business, which Hogan said “delivered meaningful expansion” with several marquee clients. He added that the company expects further growth in 2026 as government budgets normalize and as Cellebrite completes full cloud authorization through its sponsorship with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The upbeat tone follows a series of moves positioning Cellebrite for broader growth in digital investigation and security markets. Earlier this year, the company announced the $170 million acquisition of U.S.-based Corellium, a pioneer in Arm-based virtualization technology.
