“I think that one of the things that we have learned as a company, as a nation, and also from the market altogether, is the resiliency of Israel,” said Yariv Hasar, General Manager at Pagaya. “And I think that this resiliency is something that we want to leverage on one end, but we also want to maintain it on the other end.”

When the war broke out, Pagaya immediately went to help employees and their families who may be affected. At its peak, the company had up to 25% of its workforce in the army, Hasar included, but that number has lowered to roughly 10% today. Regardless of the challenges, the company never missed a deadline and maintains relationships with partners overseas.

“We managed to understand and to teach our partners that we can do it all and we can manage to do everything,” Hasar continued. “And this is something that they very much appreciate and they don't take it for granted. To elevate it or to preserve it, we need to see how we are maintaining it throughout the year.”
