“I prefer great teams with good technologies to great technologies and good teams”

“A third of our portfolio since our very early days is fintech,” explained Yodfat Harel Buchris, Managing Director at Blumberg Capital at FINTech 2022. “We understand the space, we know the space, we adore the space, and some of our most successful companies are coming from this space. We have been seeing it evolving for the last two decades.”

Blumberg Capital invests in a variety of sectors, including cybersecurity, data, AI, and now digital health with the help of its fifth fund. “I think the combination between the U.S, Israel, Canada, and Europe gives our LP very interesting returns… I must say that the fund has been very good in identifying superstars as investors and I prefer great teams with good technologies to great technologies and good teams,” she concluded.
