Despite experiencing trials and tribulations during the Covid-19 pandemic, El Al CIO and CDO Ido Biger believes the airline can draw many benefits from the crisis. "Coronavirus made us change things that we couldn't have changed otherwise," Biger said at the Mind the Tech London conference.
"Everything starts with data and that is the most important thing to us. Our data is connected to all our operational systems. All our pilots are analyzed in real time by our systems. We are undergoing our digital transformation and by the end of this year we will be taking a step forward.
