“These are interesting times, the past two years have been quite hectic,” explained Hamutal Meridor, Partner at Vintage Investment Partners. The firm, which manages $3 billion, is based out of Israel and invests both in companies at the growth stage and funds that focus on the early stage.

“We look at companies that are post-product-market,” she continued. “In the past years I think a lot of companies that are pre-product-market fit were invested in at valuations that are post-product-market fit. At Vintage, I’m probably the youngest Partner, so we have grey-haired investors that were around at the dot com bubble, and around in 2008, and they've seen how financial downturns can affect investing. We have taken our time pretty slowly investing in companies, and tried not to follow the herd and invest in companies that we thought were valued too highly.”
