Crypto exchange Kraken acquires Israeli no-code trading startup Capitalise.ai

The Israeli startup’s natural-language platform promises to lower barriers for complex market strategies.

Kraken, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced the acquisition of the assets and technology of Capitalise.ai, an Israeli company that has developed natural-language, no-code trading automation. The deal will see Capitalise.ai’s co-founders and core engineering team join Kraken’s Pro division.

Founded in 2015, Tel Aviv–based Capitalise.ai developed a platform that allows traders to turn everyday text into executable strategies. Its proprietary language model and big data engine can process both real-time and historical information across asset classes ranging from equities and cryptocurrencies to FX, futures, and options.

A phased rollout of Capitalise.ai’s functionality within Kraken Pro is expected to begin later this year.
