Hsieh declined a huge offer of purchasing his business because he believed he could get better. A few years later he sold his company for much more.
Furthermore, the book helped me since in my role as an operations lead, I build teams and help with business growth and with the company culture. Hsieh’s story addresses my faith and the way I perform my roles. I believe that when businesses focus on creating a motivated, engaged workforce, the rewards will be greater. Through increased awareness of this balance between profits, passion, and purpose, businesses can create better lives for employees while also ensuring their own success.
