While binary options in and of themselves are as legitimate as commodities options and "put" or "call" bids, what has been done by some of the Israeli companies dealing in binaries is criminal and must be stopped. The problem with all of the highly speculative gambles noted above is that anyone trading in them should be fully aware of what they're doing. The "hard sell" and false promises are only part of the problem. I wish it were possible to force any person wishing to participate in these markets to take at least an introductory course in the behavior of those markets before they're allowed to participate in them.
