Does it entail a real factual analysis, or does it merely weed out those articles which promote a certain political view? And what about the fact that most breaking news items get published long before sites like Factcheck or Snopes have time to refute them? And how would the media's common tendency to tell half-truths be curtailed by this algorithm? Surely then a computer algorithm cannot come close to sound judgment by an objective editorial staff.
