Lets please help get the silly law overturned .. It used to be illegal to be gay . It used to be illegal to drive faster tban 4mph. It used to be illegal to use contraception. I rest my case . Just because some klutz came up with an idea to illegalise marijuana, probably with a devious agenda , doesnt nean ot is wrong to use it or that it should remain illegal

The lawmakers are guilty of never pursuing facts, they see the issue as a vote loser. They never consult actual users and take all their advice from people making a fortune out of the prohibition industry. Two men conned the world with their lies and bigotry and the world has been happy to accept any rubbish the vested interests tell them.

The United States should only be that smart. We spend way too much on jailing minor offenses.

Nobody cares and nobody enforces anything unless it is in public space

Its about time,now it should just become totally legal to buy and use for ones own pleasure.

This will be perhaps one of Israel's biggest mistakes. This is not good. For medical purposes I cannot argue, but to send a message that it is okay is as bad as saying that drinking alcohol is okay. Not only will we have a bunch of drunks on the streets, but we will have people high and driving. It will dumb down the society.

You can get the same results or better smoking banana peels like we used to do in the 50's

With all the tension in Israeli Society....it should be legalized!

Law enforcement should be spending their resources on real crime, not on people's personal choices with regards to drug use.

Its a drug. Its criminal. Mr Erdan is a totally irresponsible minister. Every user will give it to their friends. The entire community will become apathetic or aggressive. How did this man become minister of internal security. We need to ask him if he smokes drugs himself.
