1. Driverless cars. I'm 71 and can't wait to get one. Unfortunately, the naysayer "fake" media will hold development back due to occasional tragedies like this. Statistically it is already a "fact" that driverless cars are safer than human-driven cars, but as Dr.Shashua has inferred, to the general public "statistics" do not matter. All they need to read about is one such accident a year and their innate biases against autonomous vehicles are justified. This is unfortunate for older and partially disabled people for whom driverless cars would be a godsend. I only hope this unfortunate accident doesn't further impede their development.
