Staff of British Airways warned me not to eat the Inflight meals no matter what class of service.

I wouldn't want to eat in-flight-meals every day for weeks, and months or even years, on end, that would be close to purgatory, and then to be charged for them as well!? That's downright robbery. Sound like a typical corporate rip-off scam to me!

I side with the flight crew. Eating the same high calorie food 3x a day, 5 days a week is not good for you. Typical frequent fliers only eat it twice a week.

It must be REALLY BAD if ALL of their employees won't eat ANY free meals! Get it together, for Christ's Sake, El Al, don't be a stereotype for all of the despicable minions out there, you KNOW what I mean. As a shiksa, : Does it ALL have to be Kosher? If so, get creative, design a NEW simple, but simply good, menu, with employee input, recipe contests, have tastings, ETC. Seriously, my GOD, what are you feeding people,

What agenda? No one really likes in-flight economy class meals on any airline, and the food is always alleged to be high in salt, for example, because flavor flattens in a high-altitude dry environment. On long flights, the staff may eat their meals on the plane several times a week and so should be given first-class or business-class meals.

Even for an occasional passenger, the ElAl food is rather disapointing, to say the least...

In the long run, calories DON't count anyway - perhaps they should keep up to date on nutrition science before trying to make a legal argument. No doubt they are not healthy - but they should use science to make an argument.

Never ever bother with food on El Al as it is total kosher rubbish and makes me puke

Frequent fliers don't have to eat aeroplane food for every meal.

My experience of El Al food over the last few years is that it’s disgusting! So I’m with the crew.

I don't know whether El Al food is healthy or not. However, after just completing flights to and from Israel I can say it was the worst airline food I've had in over 60 years of flying.

As a frequent flyer on many airways. The food and service on El Al is always outstanding!!

So, unhealthy for staff but healthy for frequent flyers????
